Happy New Year!

January 4, 2019

I penned my first devotional for email subscribers on January 6, 2013 after accepting a challenge issued by my cousin, Bryan Peterson. I didn't have a vision for this new venture, but I was moving forward because someone believed in me and encouraged me to grow.

I was convinced my purpose was to "encourage, empower, uplift, and inspire others" so I  attempted to craft messages along those lines.

It is my prayer that I have made a positive impact as we have found "a message in life's little moments."

Today, I write with a confidence I did not possess six years ago because of what I have endured during this learning process. I am also keenly aware that I must constantly seek God's approval when writing messages for you.

Yesterday, one of my mentors asked what was my writing goal for this year. I did not have to ponder the question long at all. My main goal is to faithfully and consistently serve my audience.

That is you!

I simply desire to be faithful to those who have encouraged and supported me from day one..

This year I want to be used in the same manner God used Bryan in my life. I want to encourage you to stretch, grow, and tap into your hidden potential. It is my prayer that you will step into the light of God's love and purpose for your life.

God has deposited greatness in you.

It is your time to shine!
