Episode 7 - My Chat with Jo Saxton

I have been blessed to serve on the launch team of several traditionally published authors, but this is the first time I have been given the opportunity to interview the author. Jo Saxton, the child of Nigerian immigrants in the UK, has written a timely book that releases today. The Dream of You: Let Go of Broken Identities and Live the Life You Were Made For, is available in bookstores nationwide. After hearing this phenomenal woman, you may choose to purchase the audiobook just to hear Jo Saxton’s voice as she narrates. I know that you will not be disappointed. Several months ago, one of my brothers called to share exciting news with me concerning a ministry assignment. I rejoiced with him and offered words of encouragement. When we got off the phone, I made a mental note to send him words of encouragement daily to let him know that I was cheering from him from the sidelines. His final walk is a lesson on the importance of choosing to focus on the end result instead of being controlled by our fears. Highlights from today’s episode: You have to desire the end result. You have to believe that there is purpose on the other side. You have to know that God would not show it to you if He didn’t desire you to possess it. This past weekend I was honored to host my parents and siblings as we celebrated the New Year. As much as I love entertaining, it can be a draining endeavor. Menu planning, grocery shopping, sleeping arrangements are all tasks that have to be completed in order for optimum success. While preparing the second meal of the weekend, I watched as my
